A safe place to explore your creativity

About

As  a child I loved all forms of creative expression -  art, music, dance and theater.  Then one day, while majoring in theater and world culture at the University of New Orleans, I visited the home of a friend who was majoring in art.   Upon entering his studio and seeing the easel with a painting in progress and the table of paints and brushes, I was instantly transported to a magical world of color and form. On that day I knew I would be a painter and that identification has never waivered or changed.   I later went on to study at and graduate from the San Francisco Art Institute.

My passion for painting has grown to include a desire to help others access their own creativity.  In addition to facilitating my own workshops, I have taught art in senior centers, after school programs, through a women’s creativity workshop in Greece and in an Albuquerque high school.  It gives me great joy to see people, young and old, reach inside to find and then express their own visions.
